Well, I've already mentioned one of my favorites... Beverly Cleary. I also adore Laura Ingalls Wilder. Oh! And Frances Hodgson Burnett (I think that's her name... the one who wrote The Little Princess and the Secret Garden). For more grown up of authors, I've always enjoyed Janette Oke and Lori Wick.
I could go on and on and on, but my brain is tired and I have homework!
