Friday morning:
Mama: Do you know who loves you?
Alicia: Mama!
M: That's right! Do you know who else loves you?
A: Dada!
M: Yes, Daddy loves you very much! Do you know who else?
A thinks and looks at me very irritated: Dada!
I'm sure she knows other people love her, but that was as far as she'd go.
Saturday morning:
Mama thinks that she'll try another question, knowing that it could be humbling if taken personally:
M: Who do you love?
A: Dada!
M: Who else?
A: DADA!
M tries to think of another way to word it...: Does you love anyone else?
A: Mama!
That's as far as she'd go with that one too. Everyone else has to be content with their hugs and cuddles & kisses!
I love this stage, though!
